ROARING RIVER
SCENIC PICTURES OF ROARING RIVER
As the cool weather starts to form in the early fall, a drive up the South Fork of the McKenzie River is always a treat. The red, yellows, and greens of the deep forest contrast with the blue, and whit back light of the clear sky. At the headwaters of the South Fork, is a little stream called, "Roaring River." This small, clear, brilliant blue and whit bubbling creek, is a must to see if you like nature as it was in the past. Flowing from the high Cascade Meadows, this creek offers all the cascading scenery you could ask for. Give it a try, I am sure you will be rewarded with many memorable pictures for your effort.
